Country Risk Profiles is a comprehensive travel risk management service that will provide policyholders with accurate up-to-date information for 236 countries around the world. Information includes incidents that could affect the safety and well-being of travellers, such as health warnings, crime, terrorism, political instability or extreme weather conditions.
Maxwell Lucas issues a risk rating for countries from 1 to 4 (1-Low, 2-Medium, 3-High, 4-Extreme). Maxwell Lucas uses this criteria when assigning risk levels to countries contained within Country Profiles. Our aim is to provide our clients with a realistic understanding of the risks associated with travel to the country allowing for increased situational awareness for the traveller and additional risk assessments where necessary.
Travellers can search for their destination using the search tool on the Country Profile homepage or by using the Country List page in the menu bar that breaks down each of the countries alphabetically.
All recent incidents on a country-by-country basis are displayed on the risk profile. These can be viewed on a single page to identify trends within certain regions or if destination specific news is required, simply click on the country of choice. News is displayed as either a news tab or an alert, which is a specific risk to life or simply an incident, which could affect a travellers safety.
