On Friday 27th January 2012 as many as 30,000 workers took to the streets of Bekasi town in Java, Indonesia in a protest regarding their pay. The protestors blocked many streets leading to factories in the region meaning none of them could open for work. A toll road was also blocked.
The blockages caused severe traffic disruptions in and around the area.
