Belgium - Alert

On Monday 30th January 2012 a general strike has been planned to take place throughout Belgium. The action has been called for by Belgium's major trade unions and all public services will be affected, including rail, bus, tram, taxi and flight services. 

The strike is set to begin at 22:00 (local time) on Sunday 29th January 2012 and continue for 24 hours, resuming services as normal at 22.00 (local time) on Monday 30th January 2012.
